I chose to visit this particular teacher because she implements Singapore math.
Please discuss how this classroom visit allowed you to reflect on your own teaching. What can you take back to the classroom? *
This classroom visit allowed me to re ect on higher order thinking. The more that students are exposed to this level of thinking, the easier it becomes for them to solve more complex problems. I can apply this to my area of social studies by asking higher order thinking questions. This will allow my students to think critically and apply the information that is being taught. I want them to be critical thinkers and engaged in the lessons. This will encourage active participation in classroom discussions and activities.
